For those who wish to earn a college degree and potential other benefits, Quantum Helicopters is associated with Dodge City Community College, and has been working with DCCC for many years. Note: all training for the DCCC Flight Instructor Pilot Helicopter Program, both ground and flight training, is conducted at the DCCC Chandler, AZ location and the Chandler, AZ municipal airport.
The Dodge City Community College “Flight Instructor Pilot Helicopter Program” is a two-year, Associate of Applied Science (AAS) degree program, and is made possible by an agreement between Dodge City Community College and Quantum Helicopters. This program is very comprehensive and is intended for those seeking to become professional helicopter pilots. The program includes the private, instrument, commercial, and instructor, instrument instructor certificates, as well as college general education.
Students who choose to participate in the college program may be eligible for private student loans. Veterans wishing to utilize their Post 9/11 GI Bill® benefits for flight training must enroll in the Dodge City program. See Quantum Helicopters Financial Aid page for additional information.
