Quantum Helicopters — one of the most respected helicopter flight schools in the United States — is entering a new chapter. After more than 30 years under the leadership of founder Neil Jones, the school has been acquired by military veteran and former F-16 instructor pilot Terry Blakemore.

Based at Chandler Municipal Airport in Arizona, Quantum trains pilots in a wide range of flying conditions and operates a 17-aircraft fleet that flies roughly 13,000 hours each year. The school is also a longtime Robinson Helicopter dealer and service center, maintaining one of the largest inventories of Robinson parts in the country.

In this video, meet CEO Terry Blakemore and a few of the student pilots training at his school.
